A gentleman by the name of Steve Montesanto bolted 4 of this series of 6 beautiful slab climbs, ranging from 5.6 to 5.10. Well bolted and well protected, with an easy approach. Great place for warming up for the more difficult Larry Land crag, or to bring beginners.

Getting There

Park in a wide spot in the road before you get to the Bridge. This spot is adjacent to a chained off road that goes toward the dam. A 60 second approach through the trees to the east of the parking bridge.

Steve has done a really great job developing this wall. Jeff Bostrum, Mike Carville, Josh Horniak added 2 fun routes (left and right of vertical gash) left side of the Fun House: Crusty the Clown .6 (bolts/45 ft) and Circus Tricks .7 (bolts/70 ft).

Ripple Effect and Predator above are at The Cove and not Fun House.

We found 6 routes at the Fun House, each with 4 to 7 bolts, left to right:
Krusty the Clown. 5.6? (wet that morning)
Circus Tricks. 5.7?
A fun technical route. 5.9-5.10a?
A somewhat easier route. 5.7-5.8?
A sparingly bolted route.5.7-5.8?
An unknown route.
All could be safely toproped and rappelled with a 60 meter rope, though some got close to the ends.

Rory Davis (on his 10th birthday) and Leo Long (9 and a half) climbed the "vertical gash" in the center of the wall and named it Chubble's Crack (5.8) I didn't have the heart to tell them that their Top Rope ascent doesn't really count as THE first ascent.

Mike Davis I say put Chubble's Crack up on MP and give those boys the FA credit!
