Description

Upstream and across the road from the main Natural Bridge climbing, this small area has three established sport climbs on forest service land. Also, if you're into developing limestone boulders there is a good amount of potential for bouldering. Keep in mind the good looking boulders on the east side of the road are on private property.

Getting There

Drive to the the main Natural Bridge parking lot and continue a little less than a mile farther on the dirt road. The large boulders are obvious just off the road on the right (west). Park at a small clearing in the forest 0.9 miles from the Natural Bridge lot. From the parking, backtrack into the trees staying on the west side of the road. After just a few minutes of walking the boulder with 'There Will Be Blood' and 'No Country for Bold Men' will be obvious. 'Blast from the Past' is the obvious steep arete a little farther and uphill from the first two routes.

Short, steep and bouldery. You don't need much endurance but your arete climbing better be on point. As with most new climbs, the grade is just a guess....[more]   Browse More Classics in Montana
