BETA PHOTO: The Fang
Pretty pumpy WI 4. Well worth jumping on when it's there!
This climb forms in good winter weather to the left of Tonti in Tonti Canyon.
Good lead with a few screws. TR is possible, but access to top, if not leading, is best driven to parking lot nearest the canyon and rapping down. Just a suggestion.

Sorry, just noticed that this route is also called the Snake! I tried to delete this route, but could not!

Yes, from first early ascents around 1980 it has been 'The Snake..and the main ice formation across Tonti canyon is the 'Mongoose. Names relate to late 60's era famous drag racing drivers of the era who were always in each others face.,just like these climbs facing each other. There is ONLY one true Fang', and that remains in Vail, Colorado.
