The Emeralds on Sunday?

Hey MPers -

Just wanted to see if anyone had beta on climbing conditions in the Emeralds. Looks like the weather will dry up this weekend, but not sure how long the rock needs to dry.

When I drove past Bowman Lake road this past weekend (2/12), the road was coned off and closed where it meets Hwy 20. There was patchy but significant snow in the area. Since many of those climbs never get sun in the winter, I would expect snow on the approach and at the base of the climbs. Melting snow could be keeping the climbs wet.

Also, since I80 has been closed on-and-off, traffic on Hwy 20 can be pretty bad.
