This area was developed back in the early 2000's and does not see a whole lot of repeats on the average basis. The area is more obscure and pretty much only ever climbed by locals who have climbed everything in Idyllwild and are looking for some other pretty challenging stuff in a near by crag that you get to have all to yourself.

Getting There

From Hwy 74, take Morris Ranch Road 2.6 miles, take a right on a gated dirt road and please close the gate behind you. Approximately 1.2 miles from the gate will be a road that starts in a creek, then heads up to your left another half mile (4WD recommended for this road). Park near Purgatory sign where available and head up the road and access climbers trail to your left to the obvious diamond-shaped rock formation.
