Emilee deciding how to get on top.

Description

Even by hoodoo standards, this thing is weird.

Lasso a big horn with your rope to protect getting up to the first piece of gear. Chimney up through the window until you can start getting gear. Climb past some more gear and a few bolts to the summit.

Location

The Choss Cross is the most obvious hoodoo between the Moore Cutoff Road and Sid and Charley. The route begins on the back uphill side.

Protection

Rope, a light rack of small and medium cams, quickdraws.

Webbing is new as of 11/20/16. Awesome route! Hard to sling that horn. Don't fall through the window! That would be a big drop.
