This is a quality thin-face climb located on The Footstool. The Bluffer is a stimulating lead with multiple cruxes. Well protected near the ground, the bolt spacing becomes more exciting up higher. Not runout or unsafe, but not a sport climb. For the chicken-hearted (like myself), it can be top-roped after leading an easy 5th class traverse (pro: small cams) to the anchors.
The Footstool is located at the base of the Southeast Face, about 100 yards to the right of the Alcove. From the Nose, it's a 15-20 minute walk mostly uphill. Just keep following the base and you can't miss it. There are a handful of difficult, bolted routes on the outer face of The Footstool. The Bluffer is the furthest right of these.
