KLS getting lowered down.

Description

Up and left of where the trail hits the cliff, this is the third bolted route from the left. Clip the first eyebolt, then step down and crank the bouldery start. Continue up to an anchor below the prominent pine tree.

Protection

7 bolts to lower-off.

Watch out for the sap at the anchors. There is a lot of it and we got it on our rope. Yuck.

The anchor could be moved 2-3 feet left on the face and the tree wouldn't drop sap on the gear. I got my hands all sticky when I got to the anchor.
Nice addition for the grade.

We thought this is the best of the four warmups. Solid 2.5 stars.
Keith was there today. How fitting.

First time I climbed it I skipped the anchor and ran it out to the top of Air Barrier, which is a finish much more fun than tree sap!

Careful, though, it's not bolted with this in mind (at least I think it isn't).

A bit short. My daughter had a bit of trouble with the bouldery start, none of the boys had issues, you either need to have your technic much better than 5.7 or to be able to do pullups.

As of July 9th 2017, no sappy tree issues that I noticed. An absolute delight of a climb though. Climb this immediately!
