Description Suggest change

The Balls are two bigger than average boulders that likely trundled down below the road from the Balls Wall above. Bob Murray established the best lines on these rarely visited boulders long ago, using top rope protection for the taller lines. The rock is andacite or dacite, and occasionally sharp, but the lines are tall and proud, and with enough pads, could be bouldered. Top rope anchors are available. Enough problems for a day or two of bouldering.

Getting There Suggest change

Bill Williams Mt. Park 2.4 miles up FR 111(same as Balls Wall). From the road, below the left side of the Balls Wall above, descend through PINE TREES 100 feet to the massive boulders. They are visible from the road at the edge of the more heavily pine covered area beneath the road.
