Shorter, sharper climbs across the street from the Dark Side. Defined by a big amphitheater directly across the street from the Dark Side. Most of the routes are concentrated around the eastern edge of the Amphitheater, with a few just to the left of the arete that forms the edge of the amphitheater proper.

Getting There

Get on 9th Street and drive north as per the directions to the Dark Side.

Jesse, contact Davin, Helke, or Hennings for the newer stuff. Cross Country Connection should have topos for the Amphitheater, the UW Outdoor Program has the Dark Side topos. There's also some stuff on

A lot of this used to be boulder problems! It's amazing to me this all got bolted without regard to the past boulder problems having already been done. It's worth removing many of the bolts on this wall to get things back to what they were. Everything on the right side of the amphitheater, along the shorter wall with the horizontal had been bouldered before. Much of it by Steve Mallard and crew.

That being said, some of the taller lines were not climbed before and some only as TRs. John Hennings did a great job in bolting the taller lines.
