Just saw this:

Have you had a close-call in the mountains? Now there is an opportunity for you to share your story and help to prevent others from having the same close-call or accident. The Alpine Near-Miss Survey is a website where you can post your close-call(s). Be one of the first 100 people to submit a report and you could win up to $1000 in Petzl gear. One entry per person, sweepstakes ends on October 31, 2013.

They also have a Facebook page:

I don't want to make Alpine activities safer.

Takes all the fun out of it.

Might as well pave access trails to all the summits.

Any information the site would need is already available. Do the research.
Anyone can respond to a survey. You are going to assume those stories are true and compile a 'Learn from this list?'
Have you seen the trolling on this sight?

Were you deliberately shooting for irony, or did autocorrect just happen to be that good?
