Description 

This is the original line of the chimney. Start the climb right on an easier dike feature just right of Velvet Underground. Climb the dike to a large ledge. Walk left across the ledge to the base of the chimney. Climb the chimney to trees above.

I believe the first ascent was done before black diamond even made a #4, so it’s not defiantly need but it probably makes you feel so much safer.
