Description

This is on the sunny side of Telluride. It has Dakota sandstone. It is close to town, but I have never seen anyone else there. There are sport, trad, and long toprope set ups. Per Telluride, watch for loose rock.

Getting There

Head up towards Cordet Falls, Jud Wiebe trail. Go left over a bridge and up 20 yards and take a right up loose climber trail. No Chacos, Tevas, or flipflops or you will hate life. Head straight up until you hit the rock, everything is to your left. This is 20-30 minutes from town. The routes are short, 30 to 45 feet, but the rock is decent. I want to stress steep approach and good hiking boots. This spot has from 5.3-5.12. Some locals have worked on some new routes as well.

Climbing Season

For the Telluride/Norwood area area.
