Katie on Tall Boy

Climb up features in steep and tall face. Super fun and a great warm up.

I've spent some time working the face to the left. A bit of an eliminate but still a worthy problem, the crack never presents its self to be used. Probably checks in at the v7-8 level

This is a perfect warm up for the Reserve, little tall to make sure your heads screwed on tight and some glassy quartzite to get you ready.

I did a sit start to this down and left with a left crimp and a right undercling. A long lock off right off the bat was the crux and it was maybe V8ish. Could be harder for shorter people.. or easier for those with extendo arms.

Ian, I repeated what i believe you were referring to as the tall boy sit today. however, i climbed it starting with my right hand on the obvious crimp next to the left as if felt like the more natural start. However, with this different starting right hand i feel like the difficulty was maintained and the climb should get its own page as it does not seemed contrived and appears to be the natural lowest start to the bloc. long story short great climb and think the right hand should start next to left.
