BETA PHOTO: The lower crag from the boulders/trail

A handful of sport and trad climbs are located in the beautiful Sweathouse Creek Canyon. Sweathouse seems to have been utilized mostly for the bouldering in recent years. Not surprisingly, this canyon, like most in the Bitterroot, have a plethora of single and multi pitch climbing opportunities.

Must do climbs: The Sweathouse (S) 5.12a, Schist Roof (S) 5.11d,
The Jungle Book (Mixed) 5.9, Centerline (T) 5.10c

It is highly recommended to use a long draw in the second to last bolt to reduce rope drag. Also,it is recommended to rappel the from the anchor to avoid lowering over an edge....[more]   Browse More Classics in Montana

Thanks Rick,

Your info on older routes in the surrounding area is much needed! More info on those glen lake domes would be greatly appreciated.
