About to start the traverse right, at the third bo...


Named of course for the dive bombing swallows that made the first ascent all the more exciting. Follow three bolts up a super chossy 5.4 tower to the main face. The harder and cleaner climbing starts at an obvious hole just above the fourth bolt. You can also scramble up the weakness to the right of bolt line (unprotected) to avoid the bird droppings that sometimes build up on the lower section.

Beta Alert: From the hole clip a bolt and work up sidepulls and a crimp along the right edge of an elongated shallow waco. Clip another bolt and traverse about 6 feet right to a jug. Move slightly back left and follow crimps past three more bolts to the anchors.


about 25 feet right of R.I.B., under the large high roof.
