Looks easy doesn't it?

Sur La Pointe is a Joel classic. He was all about this problem at the time and it has a very nice name (look up the definition). This is a challenging and tricky one move wonder dyno from a perfect one pad edge that accommodates eight fingers. The right toe frontpoints in a small, shallow pocket, smear the left foot and launch for the sloping lip!

Surprised you only gained a few vertical feet? It is difficult to generate any pull with the hands at all, everything is about leaping with the right toe pocket. It very much helps if you have a new edge on your shoes. I tried this probably 50 times before succeeding.

On a boulder downhill from the Colflesh area proper. The climb will be facing downhill away from you and would be challenging to find without a local.

About how far down the hill is this? I tried finding it last time I was in the area with no luck, anyone have a photo?

Pretty far down there. I think as the trail sort of fades away it's in a jumble of rocks to your left.

We actually found it this last trip, if you walk downhill from Coleflesh, there is a fait trail that will lead you right to it. This trail will pass another boulder (The Nectar Boulder) on your left before winding right and back left and bringing you right to this line.
