BETA PHOTO: Superduper's north face.

Superduper is a large boulder with several boulder problems. The rock quality is very good once cleaned up. Landings are good in most areas as well.

Getting There

From the parking area, cross CO 141 to the east, and head uphill in a southeasterly direction for about five minutes. The boulder is guarded by trees and boulders on its northwest face, this can make for a circuitous approach. Reference the page map for the exact location.

Climbing Season

Superduper V4 6B  Colorado : Grand Junction Area : ... : Superduper Boulder
Superduper traverses a solid face on an excellent assortment of holds.Stand start (a sit start is possible but doesn't add much value, IMO) with right and left hand edges. From there, traverse left through a pair of oblique rails, eventually reach a left hand gaston, crank to a right hand two-finger pocket, gain the left hand sidepull, stand up to a two-finger pocket pinch - an incredible hold, and finish straight up using the same finish as How Much A Dollar Cost....[more]   Browse More Classics in Colorado
