Description Suggest change

It is sunny from about 11am until the sun goes down, hence the name "Sunny Slabs." I have been there a few times and have never encountered anyone else. There are 2 slab routes as of right now (May 2009). There is a 5.7 trad route and a 5.10 bolted sport route on red Sandstone.

Getting There Suggest change

Drive up Cedar Canyon about 1/2 mile to the diesel pull out and park in the far eastern part of the pullout. Hike the canyon to the north of the parking area to the only clean slab at the top of the canyon, about a 10-15 minute hike. The slab is on the east side of the canyon.
