David Liao on the beginning of Sugar Brown

Description

This route reminds me of McDevitt Route aka the 11c warmup at Jailhouse. Sustained climbing with not many rests. At the anchors about 40-50 feet up you can continue leftward into Divine for the extension, which entails some fun endurance climbing that doesn't change the grade.

Location

Divine is to the left and Bicipital Groove is to the right. Starts on a big sheared-off column that looks like a cut-off tree trunk.

Protection

All fixed draws.
