BETA PHOTO: Striped Rock problems. Snaggle Lips (V1) in white...

Striped Rock should definitely satisfy your vertical bouldering needs as problems range from VEasy to V7. As a bonus, the north face allows for good shade throughout most of the afternoon.

There is a good downclimb on the southwest corner of the boulder.

Getting There

From the parking area, follow the dirt road well beyond the main area, and it'll be just off of road left. A leisure walking pace would take about ten minutes to reach it.

Climbing Season

For the Nine Mile Hill area.

I have a guidebook that shows an unnamed, V7 problem which ascends the center, north face of Striped Rock. After many attempts and failures to climb it, I'm curious if anyone has any beta or information on it.

I'm going to go try this V7 tomorrow, Nick…feel free to stop and say hey! I think it'll go "easier" now!
