Phish are in the freezer!

Won't you step into the freezer? If you do you are in for hard 5.12 climbing on bullet-proof yet blonde rock. If you look hard enough, you might find Uncle Ebinezeer. It's gonna be cold, cold, cold, cold, coooold!

Location: Lower Ice Box

Park at Shadowlands, which is the parking lot for what was once Hells Gate Gulch Picnic area. Oh how many of us have sooo many stories about that picnic area. And now it's gone. Oh well. Walk down the paved highway for 50 feet and turn left onto a trail that motors up a steep hill. If you can't find this trail keep looking, trust us, it's there. If you end up in front of or past a house with a green roof that's when you know you've gone too far. Take a hit off your asthma inhaler and sprint up a steep (but brief) section of trail that ends at a nice belay ledge below a blonde wall. On drippy days this climb might stay the driest.

Step Into The Freezer is the left-most climb on this blonde wall of 5.12 beauties.

6 or seven quickdraws and an Ipod full of Phish songs.
