We exited up it the other day didn't know it was closed. The rock is kinda questionable and I knew the gear could have broke the rock if I had fallen. If it is closed I would guess it would be due to all the questionable rock that could break.

We were searching for something super easy, and stumbled across this on Saturday. It was fun, there was plenty of solid pro here and there, but definitely were also plenty of tetchy placements to be avoided, and some blocks to be wary of pulling.

The Carolina Rocks guide says it's "closed," which we didn't know at the time. I don't think closure is really warranted, but I also wouldn't consider this much of a draw to the area.
