Making moves the crux bulge. September 2016.

Description

From the left end of the ledge, climb up the initial corner and onto the face to a big, semi-dirty flake.
Bust onto the slightly overhanging face through a sequential couple of moves to neat pockets and a bulge in the black streak. Climb jugs around and over the bulge to a few more pumpy moves to the anchor.

Location

Middle of the Big Pine Wall between Corn on the Cobble and Pocket Rocket. Start from the left end of the big ledge (or, optionally from the ground via unprotected fourth class moves up to the ledge and first bolt.)

Protection

Eight bolts to shared anchors with Corn on the Cobble.

Fun, steep line right up the middle of the wall..With more traffic this may turn into a 4 star route!!!!!!!!!!

A good independent line, despite the allusion in the name.

The left anchor carabiner could really use some lube if anyone is so inclined. The gate is very sticky and one must manually shut it.
