I'm looking for partners for some snow climbs this spring/early summer, and maybe some Sierra scrambles later in the summer.

I'm in my early 20s and live in the Bay. I don't have a car but am willing to rent or pay gas/drive. I'd like to find partners with more experience, as I would like to get some practice and get comfortable on steeper snow, roping up for technical sections, reading avy danger, placing pro, glacier travel, etc.

Basically I've gotten this far by reading FOTH and dragging along outdoorsy friends and family members on my trips so far. My experience is mostly with easier snow climbs and walk-ups, though I'm comfortable on class 3 and hoping to get more 3/4 experience. I did Castle Peak in winter and Shasta via Avalanche Gulch in the late spring a couple years back, as well as a summer hikes up a half-dozen or so other 10,000'+ peaks over the past five years.

Some of the routes I'm interested in are Dana Couloir, Crescent Moon Couloir on Round Top, Whitney MR, Lassen-Brokeoff traverse, St. Jean Couloir on Split Mtn., Lyell Glacier, etc. After the snow melts I'm game for class 3/4 peaks and learning to follow trad.
