Sphinx Wall is located halfway between the 'Superratic' area and the 'French Cattle Ranch'. The left side of the crag is easily seen from the trail that connects Superratic to F.C.R.. Look for a wall consisting of clean white rock that has a few obvious bolted lines.

Routes from left to right:
-'unknown Horst' 5.10d (short face with hard start)
-'Wyoming Wave' 5.12-?(the large 'wave' crack system that shoots through the roof)
-'Rude Cowboys?' 5.13- (crack to bulging face)
-'Little Man' 5.12c? (thin bouldery start around the bulge, to vertical small pockets)
-'Good Luck Jonathan' 5.12b (short face)
-'Hot Milk' 5.11c (flake layback start to steep pockets and edges)
-'Chocolate Mescalin' (5.12+ dyno?) is located up the hill from 'Hot Milk', on the right side of the crag
-'unknown Horst' 5.12b (short route with nice bouldery crux bulge at top)
-'Out of Africa' 5.12- (short, right angling crack route with hard looking start)
-'Brow's on Fleek' 5.13, 2 pitches(5.12/5.13)*70 METER ROPE! The epic looking left angling brow of blue and black rock. (This is the far right edge of Shinx sector)

Getting There

Approach for 'Superratic' or 'French Cattle Ranch'.

I noticed two new routes at Sphinx Wall when I was there in mid July 2014.
They are between 'Hot Milk' and 'Wyoming Wave'.
One is a 13a, and the other a 12b. (According to the chalk written at the base of each route)
They both look great! Can't wait to try them out.

Check out Tensleep Canyon's facebook page. Team Horst added them during their visit in July. There's a little topo or beta on them.
