The Class 3 summit tower with crux move at the tippy-top make for a great finish, distinguishing this otherwise Class 2 slog-up mountain from others. The scramble to top of tower is not hard. Roughly 13 miles round trip and about 4000 vertical feet from Onion Valley trailhead. Excellent views all the way up the south ridge and from top.
