Description
A fun 3rd class scramble while in the Mt. Williamson area. Nice view of Mt. Keith to the NE; Mt. Ericsson and Mt. Stanford to the west.
From Shepherd Pass (12,000'), hike due west cross-country. Find the path of least resistance up to the Diamond Mesa (12,600'). Continue north along ridgeline to the summit.
To descend, retrace steps.
