This biotite monzogranite dome lies south of Movie Road in the rain shadow of CAs majestic Mt. Whitney. The sunny south face offers warm slab and a mixed route while the north side provides steep shady bolted face climbing.

Getting There

South of Movie Road. Four minute walk from the car. Park as for Arizona Dome and hike east on the road. South Park is the crag on the left just before the climbers trail veers off the road toward Arizona Dome.

Climbing Season

For the Alabama Hills area.

Weather station 14.5 miles from here

Benjamin - Can you be a bit more specific on the location for your new area? The GPS link/pointer puts it out past The Hideout in an open area.

Hey, Ben:

Second that question. A little more beta on the approach would be handy.

Hey Ben, Murf just asked me if I could ask you could buff out this entry a little bit. Basically you have provided no info.

Thanks Ben... the GPS is off and points to a random bush out in the desert. What did you use for the waypoint?

Park at Arizona/Alabama dome parking. Hike toward Arizona dome on the road, South park is the first pile of rocks on the left (100 yards).
