Description

Just about this entire area is located in what is known as the Pando Forest, it's pretty cool, google it. Sunny all day but usually has a nice breeze. Never crowded and very secluded. Rock type is rhyolite or andesite, not really sure. The quality is pretty good for the most part. About 50% of this area is on BLM, the the other 50% is mostly national forest and there is some private land. Walking off is easy on almost all the boulders. Cell reception is so-so with verizon. This area is brand new, so cleaning with brushes is fairly essential, so bring a stiff nylon brush!

Getting There

From the fish lake store located on the southern end of the lake, drive south about 2 miles and turn left onto FR46. This is essentially where the area begins.

This is a standing start. The crux is pulling off the ground. You start on the left white side pull and an impossible looking side pull crimp, just to the right and down about 6 inches. Go up and left. Tricky feet, and super balancy....[more]   Browse More Classics in UT
