This part of the mountain is divided into two sections, the upper and lower stories. The lower story is 30 meters tall and is separated from the upper story by a trail on a ledge.

Getting There

From the parking lot, walk south down the trail past the Hüttenwände. It will wind into the forest and when it makes a sharp left turn towards a boulder situated directly in front of a crag, you're at the lower story.

A really nice, long route. Not very continuous though. The start is a bit polished so it's a little hard, but the true crux is the dihedral at the top. There's an anchor below this if you'd like to leave out the crux. If you'd like to do the complete route, I'd recommend clipping the bolt after the anchor and then unclipping the anchor to reduce rope drag for the crux moves....[more]   Browse More Classics in International
