Several trees in the area. Area is secluded. Most likely very little traffic.

Getting There

30 minutes. Take Sandy Creek eastward until you get to Buzzards Roost. The Sol Boulder is the large boulder just North of Sandy Creek. I usually walk by it on my way up to the Southeast face of Buzzards Roost. It is right below this area.

Climbing Season

For the Buzzard's Roost area.

I am pretty sure "Solaris" is in the Carnivores to the right of "Cactus Makes Perfect".

Matt Twyman put up the route and it is on the Sol Boulder. It is just north of Sandy Creek and downhill from the Southeast Face of Buzzards Roost. The new guidebook is unfortunately incorrect. I usually take Sandy Creek to the East and when I see the Sol boulder, I head up past it and up the hill straight to the Southeast Face of Buzzards Roost.

Haha, yeah. That recent guidebook sucks balls. Someone should change the MP entry for Solaris at the Carnivores, then.

I agree. I actually deleted it when I made this entry. Not sure why it can still be seen in the Carnivores.
