Slab Route follows the lower left hand groove and ...

This delicate, lightly protected climb makes a good warmup or beginning lead. Follow the featured ramp left of Bel Ami to the ledge, using angular holds. Finish left of the tower on steep, occasionally loose rock. Or, vastly more recommended, finish up the front arete of the pinnacle. Very exposed, quite easy. Turning it into two pitches is possible this way, too.

Left of the steep mass of the L'Horla buttress, and left of Bel Ami's corner and tower.

Small nuts for initial slab.
