Shot Rock is big, the rock ranges from rotten to good, and the landings vary as well. Any ascent requires an eight foot jump down. Also, the rock's south face makes for an excellent winter spot but makes for a very hot experience at other times of the year.

Getting There 

From the parking area, head north about 50 yards. It lies just west of the Wild Horse Boulder. Reference the page map for clarification.

Refusnik climbs through a pinchy overhang and finishes with an endurance traverse on slopers. Stand start with a left hand jug and right hand pinch.
