Yep, that's a slab.

This route is to the right of 7 Up. Starts off nice and steep then slabs out towards the anchors. Uses the same anchors as for 7 Up. Can rap from here or do the second pitch of 7 Up.

4 bolts to the anchors.

Fun route had a few nice moves at the first and second bolt but got pretty easy after that. Bolts are new as well as the anchors.

FIRST ASCENT: Marty Alfred, Diana Baily, Dan McGee, about 1986.

Someone else has replaced all the bolts and put in a really nice anchor. That is a ton of work! One problem. The second bolt is higher and can't be reached from the good holds that worked for the old #2 bolt location. This makes clipping the second bolt the crux with ground fall possible. Also, the climbing is easier above bolt #2, so it didn't need to be relocated two feet higher, just out of reach.

It would be nice to lower the new #2 bolt to the original location. But that will leave quite a scar because the surface was hammered flat. The easy fix is to do 7-Up and put a long draw on the second bolt on the way down.

I can only hope these new comments mean you're finally going to reach to the stars and write that comprehensive guide book to the area we've all been waiting for. With photos and history and all that cool stuff.

Hope your well. It's been a while.
