Love the name. Nice send. Wasn't going to let you leave without putting that thing down.

Thanks Ryan, it helped having you there for the spot and encouragement.
I first did it on TR, then came down, chalked up, and sent without rope next try. Psyched is an understatement.

Be bold Remo. Just call it a V8.

I would also urge the same thing. I'm certain it adds a grade of difficulty, no?

Alright grade changed. I thought it was harder than a 7, but wanted to be humble.

No need to be humble Remo. This is a proud line, and surely worthy of an upgrade over the original. Great work!

Brave, humble AND heavily bearded. A truly dangerous combination. Nice work Remo!

Anyone know why the direct wasn't done as the original? It seems obvious and DL has no shortage of bold climbers. It's puzzling, no?

Also, I'd love to add the following- AWESOME JOB REMO! Definitely one of those lines that inspire at first sight...

Because Remo cheated with Pads, Paulie. Diapers for the scared!

Thanks Paul. Don't listen to Rhoads, he loves his pads just as much as the rest of us. He's just more comfortable above gear.

Yeah I love my diapers organic! Now if only I was that solid above gear/pads!

If only I could do the bottom of this thing, I'd show you a thing or two! ARGGGGG!

Remo, I don't love pads I make love on pads. There's a difference.

Peter B had the third ascent this past weekend. Did the bottom, and decided to run it up to the top.

S&C direct saw three ground up ascents today! I think that's a record for this problem. Nice work Ben and Ted!

After looking at this climb over and over again while in the area, I finally got the opportunity to go to the top. Such a great climb, a must do for anyone that is into high, scary, but secure classic lines.
