BETA PHOTO: Seriously Shady (5.8), Joshua Tree NP

Climb a short ways up a cracked flake, clip a bolt and then make delicate friction moves up to series of holds and ledges leading to the right and a second bolt. Move up the steeper patina arete past one final bolt and the summit.

The anchor bolts for this were drilled in rapidly failing light as the FA started late in the day.

Not really on BC Buttress but a huge block just downhill and northwest of it; the route is on the north side of the block.

3 bolts, 2 bolt anchor/rap (all 1/4")
