Description

This wall is the tallest of all the walls in The Ravine. It faces South west so catches the sun most of the day, and it can get hot any tie of the year.

A number of the problems have rocky uneven landings so take when placing pads and spotting.

Getting There

Walk up north into the ravine and this wall is soon encountered on the right.

Stand start with left hand on a large but poor hold and right on a small crimp about 4' up. Move up the steep face via a small sharp crimp then higher with the right hand on a poor hold to the right of the faint arete. From here work the holds as best you can and then gun for the good holds up right at the lip.Best done on cool winter days with no sun....[more]   Browse More Classics in California
