Scrambling/Couloir Climbing

Hello!

I just started climbing a few months ago, but I've done some great snow routes and some scrambles. I am looking for anyone who is interested in either couloirs and/scrambling (getting aquainted with Class 4), or anyone with gear and experience for roped alpine ascents. I have some experience belaying top rope, and I have harness and shoes. I was planning on either Apache Couloir, Mt. Neva's N. Ridge, or Kelso Ridge to Torrey's for Thursday the 27th, still trying to decide on which.

I bartend, so my days off are usually weekdays. I am motivated and ambitious, but not reckless. I have set my sights on completing the Pfiffner Traverse this winter, so I am spending a lot of time in the Indian Peaks acquainting myself with the routes and the area.

Male or female, 20-50, preferably motivated, ambitious, and good natured.

Me after Juliet Couloir on Mt. Neva.

Hey man, I'm always game to get up there, I live in Boulder...I do work during the week, and have only weekends off, but if you happen to have a weekend-day off, keep me in mind.

Kyle,

I've got the 27th off and would be down for some climbin'. I live in Nederland and am very familiar with the IPW. I'm staring at the N. ridge of Neva right now and there's still quite a bit of snow on it. Snow Leopard and Snow Lion on Jasper look pretty badass as well. Would like to get an early start on any of the stuff up there. Lemme know if you've got other days off midweek, I'm usually free!

Keep me in the loop. I'm always down for alpine climbing.

I have Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday off, and plan to be out all of those days somewhere in the IPW or near there.

Savage Marmot- If Snow Lion is good, I'm up for that. Starting at 230am sound about right? Tuesday or Thursday.

Dusty Buck- Somehow I got a Sunday off, but work until 12am Saturday currently. I guess I'll sleep before work if Sunday works out... I have no problem being the driver, either. Maybe Skywalker for round two, since the round trip is shorter than some other routes near there?

I'm not certain of the proper etiquette for assembling groups, but I have no issue with multiple people coming out. (I.e. Seth0687)

It's going to be a great week I'm sure!

Mike or Kyle, did you happen to see conditions on Skywalker? We are thinking of climbing it Wednesday.

I'm good for either Tuesday or Thursday (whatever route). If you want to start at 2:30 that works, but I think that as long as we're hiking by 4am things will turn out fine. The approaches aren't too long.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
