Description Suggest change

Not to be confused with the North Sawtooth Ridge. In the summer, this is an easy 5 mile hike to the pass. In the winter, it is an approachable pass with crampons and ice axe. The ridge from the pass to the summit Sawtooth Peak has been described as 2nd class, but feels more exposed and is probably 3rd class or more.

Getting There Suggest change

Drive up to Mineral King Ranger Station in Sequoia Ntnl Park. Park in the Sawtooth pass lot - protect your car from marmots!
