Santiago accomodations?

Does anyone have any recommendations for accomodations for my husband and I in Santiago for one or two nights in mid Jan and again one or two nights in mid Feb? Hotel? Hostel? Air B&B? Climbers with a spare room? Someone to talk about local climbing would be great, especially if the weather turns (Goal: Cochamo for three weeks).
