Saint Mary's Glacier Rock Climbing
This hidden climbing gem offers lots of bouldering, some possible trad lines, and even a deep water solo. It has bulletproof rock, typically great weather in the morning, clouds move in in the afternoon. Lots of people up from Denver hiking, but there is never anyone on the rock.
Take exit 238 off I-70 and follow fall river road until you get to the Saint Mary's Glacier trailhead. It costs $5 to park. From there, head up the trail a half mile to a lake, explore from there.

This is an awesome deep water solo! Start right at water level and heads toward highest point of crag. The crux comes right in the middle with undercling to sloper reach with minimal foot placement. It has an interesting mix of crimps, underclings, and slopers. Top out and walk off or jump into the lake for more fun....[more] Browse More Classics in Colorado
