Description
Safety Pin is the smallest of the Ten Pins, and it is located next to Hairy Pin. The crux of the route is the descent. There are not any anchors on top, so bring a large piece of webbing to sling the summit, and then make a difficult simul rappel.
Getting There
Safety Pin is easy to pick out from the road next to the Ten Pins. Look for Hairy Pin (the large pin furthest on the left), then look just to its right. Safety Pin is the small rock that is almost connected to Hairy Pin. It has a very distinguishable slot that you can see daylight through. This is the "eye" of the Safety Pin.
