Ruin's main draw is its south-facing, highly featured overhang. This boulder is big, the rock quality is mixed, and the landings are very good.

Getting There

From the parking area, head down the hill, cross over East Creek, and head uphill. The boulder lies just shy of the dirt road. Another option would include parking at the Chinese Algebra Area, head down the hill, cross over the creek, head uphill, and turn north onto the dirt road. Follow this road for about 5 minutes until hitting a large cluster of boulders on the right hand side. Ruin lies near Zevon, Fertile, and Foundation. Reference the page map for a more precise location.
