Bouldering starting at the road heading up into the woods so it might be a little noisy most of the rocks have not been cleaned so there is the possibility to put up new routes but you will need to bring a brush the rock is high quality schist, verging on gneiss.

Getting There

if you park in the AT/LT parking lot on rt11/30 just up the hill from Manchester vt you will see the boulders in the woods mostly on the side of the road you park

Any progress on developing this place yet?

I stopped by this area on 7/29/16. I tried to follow the description and only found a couple of mossy rocks that weren't even that tall. So this area isn't developed. Probably have to do a lot more searching to find more rocks because I feel like this area is loaded with rocks.

There is the potential for 150-200 problems here. Nice rock. Many in the 12-18ft high range. They are a bit tricky to find. From the parking lot you head west on the snowmobile trail, cross a couple of bridges and pass a few small boulders. Before the snowmobile trail heads out to cross route 30 it T's into a logging road. Take a right and head north away from route 30 uphill. Cross the power line and into the next band of woods. Most of the good boulders are uphill about 1/4 mile, another cluster to the left about 100 yards just in the woods from the power line and another cluster 100 yards to the left and below the power line.
