Hi, looking for a partner who can lead sport 10's. We'll be staying at Miguel's hopefully from 5/13 to 5/19.
My husband and I will be climbing 9's and under ourselves. but it would be nice to have someone join us and can lead some routes that we haven't yet to climb on for the fear of bailing. (My husband has climbed couple 10's at sunnyside )
If you want to climb on harder routes, we'll be happy to belay you. If you are like us and crushing 9's and under and looking for a partner, PM me as well. We are safety conscious climbers and are open to any advice for bettering our skills.
We have an annual Muir valley pass. You can ride with us and save your money. We also have very shiny trad gears that we'd like to try out as well!
Thanks for your post-- I'm off 17th-19th and would be looking for a partner/partners for those days. I'm around the same level, but have little experience with trad. However, I've been wanting to gain experience/ possibly lead a beginner route.
With sport I'm around the same level, but depending on the style I would feel comfortable leading 10s.
I do have a dog that would be coming with me, so I wouldn't be able to go to Muir.
Will you be trying to get out and climb this Saturday? I may come down tomorrow after work to climb mainly Saturday and a little Sunday morning. Comfortable leading into mid to upper 10s. I would be staying at land of the arches however.
