If you're only going to come to NW Montana and do one route - it will be in this area.

Getting There

Drive North on hwy 37 out of Eureka to the Koocanusa reservoir. From the bridge drive another 3 miles. The Room with a view area is on your right. The main areas are on the left and if you see the porta-pottie - you've gone too far.

this climb alone brought me to Montana:) i found it on this site and had to have a go... the climb is super clean nothing really loose. solid rock and one of a kind view. taking a fall can be a bit much due to the elusion your 500 feet off the ground... lol. i found if you don't get over to 10a overhang quickly you pump very fast.

a must do climb!

Living in North Idaho, this a great place to climb and enjoy the area. Room with a View is worth the drive in and of itself. The view while climbing high above the lake is awesome.
