This seldom used gem currently holds eight sport routes. Its north-facing aspect means it gets shade until afternoon in the summer and is shady all day in the winter. The crag boasts featured basalt with a variety of holds and movement. Rock quality is generally good. Routes are clustered into two areas, left side of the wall has Wasn't Built in a Day, Julius Squeezer, Trajan's Column, and Spanish Steps. Right side of wall has Romulus, Remus, Roman Ruin, and Centurion.

Getting There

The Roman Wall lies about 100 yards due south of the Dierkes parking area and is easily recognizable. From the southwest corner of the parking lot, look for a cairn near a gap in the sagebrush. Follow cairns across rock into a shallow drainage, and then up through talus. Cairned trail should bring you to base of wall near Julius Squeezer.
