BETA PHOTO: Rollover Rock's west face, as seen from the parkin...

Rollover has a few problems on its west and north faces. The rock is surprisingly good, and the landings are good as well.

Getting There

This one lies on the eastern side of CO Hwy 141. There is a pullout directly across the road from where the area's other boulders are located. In that pullout, the boulder lies maybe 30 feet east of the parking spot. Reference page map for clarification.

A few years back, on my way out to the canyon, I was the first to come across an accident that had just occurred in this pullout. A semi-truck had lost its brakes coming down Nine Nile Hill and rolled-over into the pullout trying to make the corner. I literally missed the accident by a few seconds.

Luckily, the driver managed to avoid harming himself and the nearby boulders ;).
