Mix of sun and shade. These tend to be short routes (10m), with a mix of top rope, trad and sport climbs available. Can be crowded as this is the most easily accessible area in Whitehorse. The rock is mostly granite of great quality.

Getting There

Go up Robert Service and turn right at the roundabout after you pass the Alaska Highway. Park at the first parking lot on your right. Take the trailhead that leads left (although you can also head right and go a roundabout way). There are two descents, one leading to the lower gardens and one leading to the upper.

Climbing Season

Clip two bolts and head right onto some crimps. The crux is going from here up to the good ledge at the top. Left foot on the previously good flake for your hand, push up to reach a really terrible hold for your left hand, push up higher, then bump up to the good ledge with your left hand.
